Prior to the Ceremony
A private meeting between the Registrar and the couple will always take place just prior to the Ceremony.
Marriage Ceremony
The Park, Manor and Mahogany rooms are all licensed for civil marriage ceremonies for between 10 and 130 guests. The ceremony is conducted by two Registrars from the local authority.
Once you have made provisional marriage ceremony arrangements with us, you will need to contact South Gloucestershire Registrars on 01454 863140 at least 15 days before the ceremony.
Music during the Ceremony
Should you wish to have music in the licensed room, either before, during or immediately after the ceremony, the Registrar must be advised of this in advance.
We are happy to recommend musicians, harpists and string quartets. Please be advised that although there are no facilities to play recorded music within the room, you are more than welcome to use your own sound system or alternatively one can be hired for you.
