Set in an area of outstanding beauty, close to the World Heritage City of Bath, The Park is the perfect base from which to explore the many visitor attractions of the South West.

The Park resort is conveniently located just 4 miles north of Bath and 10 miles east of Bristol just minutes from Junction 18 on the M4 off the A420 which runs from Chippenham to Bristol.

Bath

The City of Bath is over 2000 years old, and its fascinating Roman Baths are among the best preserved Roman remains in Europe. Bath Abbey is right in the centre of the city, and a few minutes' walk takes you to the Royal Crescent, the Circus, Pulteney Bridge and many other squares and crescents, all reflecting the elegance of the Georgian period. Visitors can bathe in the newly renovated Thermae Bath Spa, or enjoy the city's lively cultural scene.

Wiltshire, Somerset and the Cotswolds

Some of the finest visitor attractions in the South West such as Longleat, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Avebury and National Trust properties at Prior Park, Dyrham Park and Stourhead are only a short drive from The Park.

The beautiful county of Wiltshire is on the doorstep and a visit to the charming National Trust village of Lacock with its amazing abbey is not to be missed.  It's played host to some of the biggest movie productions in history including Harry Potter.

Those who wish to travel further afield will also find The Park a convenient base from which to explore the Cotswolds, the Mendips - both designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - and the many historic villages and valleys of undiscovered north-east Somerset. The recently opened Radstock Museum brings alive the fascinating social and industrial heritage of this little-known yet intriguing area.

Bristol

Bristol, 10 miles to the west of The Park, is a large, vibrant and exciting city, where the picturesque harbour winds its way right through the city centre. Famous Bristol attractions include the SS Great Britain, the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Explore-At-Bristol, the Bristol Industrial Museum and the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum. There is plenty going on, with everything from exhibitions at the Watershed Arts Centre to opera at the Bristol Hippodrome and exciting contemporary theatre at the newly renovated Tobacco Factory.  Step back in time to the oldest working theatre in the country at the Bristol Old Vic.
