The Head Chef sources local produce including beef and lamb from the area and takes trouble to know the provenance of his food.
Sustainable Construction
The company sources local building materials including locally quarried stone and takes active measures to minimize the removal of top soil.
Preserving the Built Environment
Many old and dilapidated old buildings are being restored, preserving them for the future.
Protecting Local Identity
Many hundreds of metres of dry stone walling are being re-instated.
The Natural Environment
There is an ongoing tree preservation plan and the company has worked with the Woodland Grant Scheme to plant more than 3000 mixed woodland tree species.

Rain water is harvested to irrigate the golf courses.

UPVC alternatives are used for doors and windows.
Local Employment in Rural Communities
20 jobs have been created in the local community in the past 18 months.
Wildlife
Surveys have been commissioned to protect the habitat of rare and endangered species, including Bats, Slow Worms and Great Crested Newts.
